Anyways, I'd just say to go to some anime/manga or hobby shops or something and ask. Places like Beanie Haven or... Erm... I don't know what places you have around where you live, but if you can't find one at one shop, ask where else you might be able to find it. They'll be glad to help. I know because that's what I did when I was looking around for my Akatsuki cloak, which I eventually had to make myself anyways, though I found my anti-rock headband in the process. ^^
The other thing I could suggest is to make your own. I had just a makeshift band for my first year at Otafest. It was just a piece of cardboard with the Leaf symbol drawn on it with a marker, attached to a bandana (which I folded to make a headband) with paperclips. X3
You could probably make one yourself, too. If you're willing to defile your headband, or get another one, you might be able to buy some black fabric, make a headband with it, and take off the metal part, and fasten it to the headband. My headband has a leather backing behind the protector, so I'd just cut away the old band and then fasten it to the new headband by taking a needle and handsewing a little from the headband through the leather and back...
Then again, that's just what I'd suggest trying. I haven't actually had the need to do that. XP Another option would be to order it online from somewhere, there are more than a few places where you can get cosplay stuff online.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
