DGM: The One Beloved By God

It had been a year since Allen Walker dissapeared from the face of the Earth. Considering him dead, the Black Order presented his casket to the other Exorcists. Lavi was in his study, still working under the BookMan. Lenalee had re-grown her hair long for Anita, and for Allen. Kanda and Miranda left under the same General's branch, and Krory assisted at the Black Order.

It was late at night, the gates locked, and the GateKeeper sleeping. Lavi walked tiredly towards the eating hall, skuffling his feet as he stretched. His yawn echoed though the stone hallways, no one around to hear it. Lately, the few exorcists and Keepers around were out on missions, and Lavi was missing out. Sitting down and waiting for Jerry, Lavi looked over documents of killed Exorcists, trying to find clues on Allen's dissapearance. "C'mon, Sprout...give me a sign..."

Komui walked in, his bunny-slippers making their destinctive sound. Carrying two cups of coffee, he smiled. "You're working late again." "Can't sleep." Lavi said quickly, staring at Allen's file. "I know you're worried...but...we can't do anything about it, Allen's go-" "HE'S NOT!" Lavi yelled, fists shaking. Small dark circles formed on the pages. Komui sighed. "He was my friend...my comrade...we have to find him, I know he's not dead!" Komui left the mug and put his hand on Lavi's head. "And you will." Leaving Lavi alone, Komui met Lenallee in the hallway, and she looked at him worringly. "He's alone, why don't you go sit with him, keep him company." "A-alright."

Lenalee sat down next to Lavi, but the mood was silent. "I know he's alive." Lavi said looking at the photo. "I can feel it." "I know, I can too..."

Suddenly, the entire building shook, the booming voice of the GateKeeper echoed. "CURSED! CURSED! KEEP HIM AWAY FROM ME! CURSEDD!" "What's he yelling about?" Lavi said with a headache, looking up to the shaking ceiling. "...cursed? I think he's lost i-" Lavi and Lenalee looked at one another and bolted down the hall, Lenalee activating her innocence and grabbing Lavi's hand as she dashed down. "Cursed?!" Komui said standing at the door. "You sure?" "Y-YES! YES! THE WHITE HAIRED KID! ALLEN WALKER!" "O-Open the door, you idiot! Open it!" Lavi said screaming at the gate. Slowly, it opened, and a figure stood in the doorway. Allen looked in and smiled; "I'm home." Lenalee collapsed to the floor, and Lavi stood still, quickly running over and hugging him tight. "YOU IDIOT! YOU HAD US ALL WORRIED!" "...L-Lavi?" "Idiot!" Lenalee agreed, crying. Getting to her feet, she stumbled over and hugged him too. Allen was silent. "I'm sorry...I'm home now."
